Have you had enough yet? Are your outrage cylinders getting burnt out?

The late great progressive talk radio show host and activist Joe Madison used to say almost daily on his show, “Everyone can do something.” He was constantly exhorting his audience to, as Madison’s good friend and fellow radio professional, Thom Hartmann, concludes each program, “Get out there, get active — Tag! You’re it.”

It’s calls to action like these that motivated me to get into the political fray a decade ago. At that time it was the pointless “Hillary vs. Bernie” divide, and, of course, the fateful 2016 election that started this whole mishigas.

No doubt you’re looking at news of the petty man-baby we stupidly sent back to the Oval Office “federalizing” the nation’s capital, and feeling again that familiar knot in your gut. No doubt you’re connecting ICE raids scooping up American citizens to Nazi Germany gestapo. You’re likely wondering how another tax cut for the morbidly rich to the tune of $4 trillion and the building of a $200 million ballroom larger than the entire White House could possibly be called “efficiency” with a straight face. You’re seeing congressional republicans abdicate their responsibility by shrugging off their duty to uphold checks and balances the founders of our government insisted on to…
